I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of concern and offers of assistance.

Several people have suggested that I just lock down the majority of forum boards and open up a new "clean" thread. While that certainly gives people a place to post, it does not solve the larger problem. And any new thread(s) would need to be judiciously monitored 24/7. No matter how many moderators I have, no matter how many posters vow to be careful, ultimately I am still the one responsible. No one else can or should shoulder the burden for this site.

Here are my recommendations while this site is offline:

• Join one of the many other Adam Lambert communities. There are some very good ones, all with their own merits and style. PF was never in competition with these other communities, rather we attempted to supplement what they do with our own brand of fandom. And now Adam has a new official Fan Club site that fans from every blog and forum have joined to globally share their love for his music: http://adamlambertfans.com
   
• Please don't continuously discuss PF and it's current status on other communities. Taking this forum and site offline was a personal decision, and discussing it won't change the outcome. But it might alienate you from other fan groups. That would be a shame and the real loss to the community.
   
• In other words, let's bring the focus back to Adam.  PF's sole existence was to support Adam Lambert and his career. Please keep that spirit of celebration and respect at the forefront in your online Adam-related endeavors.

I hope that clarifies my position and answers some of the questions I've received. Please understand that I have received many more emails than I can answer personally at this time. Planet Fierce was started as a hobby and I do not earn my living running the site. There is only a limited amount of time that I can devote to this effort and will do the best I can.

And for those who asked, I am doing fine! No need to worry about me personally, I'm genuinely OK. It will all work out. The Universe works in mysterious ways and I truly believe there are no coincidences. Things happen for a reason.
